Hello from N7 Day!
In the spirit of the two major Mass Effect announcements fans saw during N7 Day, I made a little chart to track the upcoming releases and potential events that BioWare may attend and reveal. While BioWare isn’t guaranteed to show up at every gaming event, based on precedent, these events are listed as a fair chance of a reveal. I’ll keep updating this list as more announcements come.

2020
November 7 - N7 Day; Mass Effect Legendary Edition was revealed
November 17 - BioWare: Stories and Secrets from 25 Years of Game Development book releases
The book will divulge many different… well, stories and secrets from BioWare. Canceled games, never-before-seen concept art, scream rooms, and more.
December 4 - Dragon Age Day
While there’s no indication yet of announcements or reveals, BioWare officially backed the fan-made holiday last year. With N7 Day’s large announcement, we may see another whammy.
December 10 - The Game Awards
In 2018, BioWare revealed their #TheDreadWolfComes trailer for the next Dragon Age. It’s possible they may make another appearance.
December - Star Wars: The Old Republic - Echoes of Oblivion
Announced during the Digital Cantina on November 20, SWTOR’s Update 6.2 will hold new story content and a new flashpoint called “Spirit of Vengeance”.
2021
February 2 - Electronic Arts Q3 2021 Earnings Conference Call
Unannounced BioWare news tends to trickle in occasionally during these Investor earning calls. Always check the Q&A section for gems!
February 21 - The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy: Expanded Edition book releases
Historically, BioWare has released Art books shortly after a game has released. While the Legendary Edition doesn’t have a slated date yet, it’s always good to check the art book release for a fair estimate. Note, however, since the trilogy has been out for a very long time, it’s possible BioWare may release this before the remaster’s release since no spoilers are to be had.
March 2 - Dragon Age: The First Five Graphic Novels book releases
In the Dragon Age timeline, the graphic novels are placed during Inquisition’s founding up to “present day”. It’s possible that content from these graphic novels may be referenced in the next Dragon Age game.
March 31 - Dragon Age: Dark Fortress comic releases
Following Dragon Age: Blue Wraith, the next series Dark Fortress will follow Fenris’s story as he bands together with Inquisition agents to save the world. Again.
This is the same sequel that was mentioned by writer Nunzio DeFilippis on the unofficial BSN back in September 2020.
The official release is March 31, but you can also grab a hard copy (referral code) from Amazon that releases September 21, 2021.
SPRING, Exact Date TBA - Mass Effect Legendary Edition game releases
If we follow the official definition for Spring, the remaster may release anytime between March 20 and June 20.
June - EA Play (Electronic Arts’ Press Conference)
Electronic Arts’ biggest event of the year. It’s always possible that BioWare makes an appearance at this conference.
August - Gamescom
One of the gaming industry’s biggest events. Historically, BioWare has made many reveals at Gamescom, and it makes sense that they appear here again.
Into the unknown…
April 2022 or later - The Next Dragon Age releases
According to Electronic Arts’ Q2 2020 fiscal call, the next Dragon Age will release sometime on or after April 2022. An exact date has not yet been confirmed.
TBD - Anthem releases
Anthem has been in active re-development not too long after its initial release. Updates can be found on the BioWare blog and Studio Director Christian Dailey’s Twitter.
TBD - The Next Mass Effect releases
The latest N7 Day blog post revealed its existence and a piece of concept art from the title.
