A while ago I saw this trending topic on Twitter. Didn’t get to post then, but using this time to do it now.

When I was a kid, I didn’t have mentors. Most of what I did revolved around what my parents and their friends wanted. What they expected: get good grades, take AP classes, go to piano lessons, be prim and proper, become a doctor. Often, my parents dragged me to Filipino parties to be a walking showcase of their pride. If I messed up, I’d be chided for not following the example of <insert other Filipino girl my age’s name>. But most cases, I accepted it. I had little motivations to make an alternative course; I sat alone in auto-drive for most of my childhood.

Perhaps my past reflects why I don’t look up to others. Most of my time existed in solitude, amongst the pages of books or cinematic video games. I was too eerily content with my life. Back then, video games were only in my life as a replacement for not having siblings. Or in some cases, friends. Only after I saw how much others enjoyed video games as I did, across Newgrounds (my first internet site of choice) and Neoseeker, did I consider involving myself in the video game industry.

I don’t know what I want yet out of eSports. Of designing video games or machinima. I like to dabble in the possibilities, and the extent of what skills I can potentially offer. Suppose what inspires me is the thought of what I can shape myself into.

After the jump are a few of my favorite videos - the ones that inspire me. The ones that I remember when I want to make something of myself. Or, at least the ones that have really nice taste.

I am not an employee of Bioware or EA, so sadly no, I don’t have any insider intel. And even with privileged info I occasionally get, I wouldn’t say anything about it. Sorry.

That being said, based off everything the BW devs have said thus far, it looks like their announcement will be held during the EA press conference + E3. It makes more sense anyway, since EA’s press conference is going to be the main hitter with Sims 4 news simultaneously coming out.

I no longer have the console command list for the Solitude house but you’d need to establish the quest flags for many Falk Firebeard/Jarl/Solitude resident quests. You’ll need to use “SetStage ” and other commands to complete this. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)

One of the pre-existing conditions haven’t been met. Try any of the quests that either the Jarl or Steward from Solitude want done. Sometimes you have to do a quest in order for a quest flag to be finished.

You have to do a series of checks for each city. They won’t just let you buy a house - they want you to help around town and also help the Jarl with his/her quests. For instance, Elsief (sp) from Solitude wants you to put a horn on Talos’s shrine for her husband. But you can’t even do that until you talk to Falk Firebeard and do his quests. Once you become their “friend” and known in their hold, you can buy property.

Making a new series! GL combines Mass Effect 3’s destroy ending with a love sim. Basically, what Mass Effect is when you remove the combat :)

I'm looking for some tips on leveling quickly in Skyrim. I:'ve hit the 50s and it's slowed down considerably. Smithing, Sneak, Destruction and One Handed are all at 100.

Depends on what skills you’re looking to level up. While you have hit the buffer, it just means you have a lot more grind work to do. Make use of the Stones so you get a percentage (just like how the Thief stone improved leveling Stealth and the like).

Leveling up your other magics is a lot of grind work. If you finished the Dark Brotherhood quest, you can use the torture chamber victims for restoration and conjuration. If you want to be a jerk and don’t care about Serana, use her as your tester. She is an essential NPC and will never die. Or use Shadowmere like everyone else. Shadowmere has a very high recovery rate. Switch your difficulty to Master so they regenerate health faster. Illusion you can just cast anything you have while you’re idle/walking somewhere (like Muffle).

If you want to cheat, I think the Oghma Infinium glitch is still there.

As far as joining the stormcloaks, in Windhelm at the Palace of the Kings, talk to Ulfric Stormcloak. Once you start talking about “Do you remember me” or something like that, he talks about joining the stormcloaks and will make you talk to his LT. Or rather, you can just talk directly I think to his LT ‘Galmar Stone-Fist’ and he’ll add you in.

OP forgot to mention that the (Frostbite) toolset was briefly mentioned by Mary Kirby (one of the writers). If this is something that the public can use, then that opens up two opportunities:

Tool similar to DA:O’s toolset that can be used for mods, custom quests, and machinima content creators
Future possibility for Mass Effect 4 and other titles having mod toolsets
